I'm sure you'll say things like "this is coach speak" "obviously he'd say that, what else could he say" etc.
Difference is, Richt historically has always been a man of his word. I may be blinded my loyalty, you're right, but if you weighed the "pro's and con's" of the UGA program vs the A&M program, I think it's pretty obvious.
That isn't a slight to the A&M program, it's merely stating that being as entrenched in UGA as Richt is, it's delusional to think he'd want to start over in a borderline lateral move.

in all fairness i think we can all agree A&M has lower standards so in the end, yea, richt would have more job security
but that may be the only positive not to mention richt's security over here isn't really all that bad anymore. it's all pro richt but with a hint of if you frick up then go to college station

UGA offered him an extension. However, whether or not he signs it is up to him. Speculate all you want. Plus isn't it a 7 year extension? That's a long time. He may want to branch out. Who knows.

WE haven't offered yet to my knowledge (just in the talking stages) and I would blow a gasket if it's a 7 year extension. No way in hell did he warrant that. 3 year sounds about right with a modest raise and bonuses.
