For the last time, this isn't going to happen. LSU will NOT pay his $4 million buyout.

Why would he leave that cupcake conference to come here?

Won't happen. If he wanted to move...He'd be Alabama's coach right now.

Bingo. He's got an easier road to the CG every year where he's at.

I'd take him in a millisecond.

if he is in the nat'l championship this year, he will NOT leave WV.
easier conference and a possible BCS/MNC every year.

Slaton gone this year, and the QB gone after next year...special players, for unique offense...
If White goes down, WVU is top 20 team , not NC caliber...just Oregon...mobile QB play is huge in CFB

Forgetting the buyout for a second, I don't think the Ala situation last year is indication he won't leave for the right situation. I didn't understand why he even considered leaving last year with the team he had coming back for the team Ala had coming back. Validity: compare 2007 Bama to WV. But his team will drastically change next year at WV. I don't see the analogy to him not jumping to Ala. last year.

Just think about what he could do with our WR, RB and RP at QB next year.... Would be Great but NOT going to happen.

What kind of half-hearted thread is this? A drive-by thread?

is he not a wvu alum and native??? Isnt he (most probably) going to the NC game??? Why would he leave?
Posted on 11/26/07 at 6:41 pm to Hootie
Why? He's the top dog in a weak conference. He's basically guaranteed a BCS berth every year.

Rich Rodriguez is not leaving West Virginia, especially when he has Slaton, White, and Devine returning next year to possibly repeat as MNCs. Regardless, I would not want to see him interviewed.

If he didn't take the moneybag$$$$$$ to go to Bama, why would he take less money to come to LSU. He's staying at WV. Hell, he's probably playing in the BCS-CG.
People, try to use reason...

don't want that wrinkly bastard, let him stay where he is where he can win all of his cupcake games.

It would give Perriloux the chance to make a legit run for the heisman with his offense
