I doubt he's gone, but who know what any coach in the SEC will do these days. Maybe Sylvester Croom will leave Miss. State to come to LSU or take over Auburn.

Sources: Tuberville deal in works but not done

FAYETTEVILLE - Rumors are flying that deal has been reached with Tommy Tuberville to bring him to Arkansas.
Various sources tell 5NEWS that such a deal may be close but it isn't a sure thing. Sources say Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones has been a major player in the brokerage of a deal. Jones is reportedly not only agreeing to cough up money to get Tuberville but to pay his assistants top money as well.
On Wednesday night, incoming Arkansas Athletic Director Jeff Long, who is conducting the coaching search, said reports of an "SEC West coach are premature, not even premature, but a fantasy."

This is all sounding really funny. I am starting to wonder if Tubby is about to stick it to Auburn. Take if for what it's worth but I just got a text from someone who said he heard a PC will be held tomorrow AM where Tubby will be announced. The quick cover up by UA officials makes me wonder now if it was accidentally leaked out.
