Remember that the Longer MI drags this out, the less likely

Les is going anywhere.
The continued silence is a good thing.
Also remember how well all the parties to this dance know each other. We are not talking about flying all over the country to get an idea of what the other party is all about.

Nick Saban saga dragged on for weeks

Dude, we need to get rid of Les.
Don't you know that?

Yep, sure have thought we would have heard something by now leaning one way or the other. I thought it would have been a done deal by tomorrow morning regardless of which direction he went. UM must be getting kind of desperate by now.

Saban didn't have to close the deal with high school recruits in Miami, Miles would in Michigan. Totally different scenario going to the NFL.

I do have some concern that maybe it is time for both parties to go separate ways. Sometimes that is the best for everyone in the long run.
If Miles does not go to MI, we are tied to him BIG. Miles is not going to be an annual pursuit of other college teams nor the Pros.
We play offense like in the Cotton Bowl and we are going to kick some arse. Problem is we have played like shite on offense for several years with an occasional spurt. IF that is on Crowton, he should be gone.

Saban announced BEFORE the bowl game on XMAS DAY. Remember that December 25 present from Nick. Today is almost over 2 weeks up the road from XMAS.

That could turn out to be not entirely true. Who's to say he is not waiting to see what both sides have to say first. Business is business and pleasure is pleasure. Miles may love Mich and wish to be back there. That might be all there is to it, The fact that our AD wants to announce we will do everything to keep Miles say enough that there is interest. Why else say it, instead of the usual he is our coach talk?

Everything is speculation at this point.

Think all parties involved are trying to handle this situation as professional as possible.
