He said he would notify lsu 24 hours before a meeting with michigan even occurs. The longer this goes the. more likely he stays. Last night I was 50/50 now I'm 75/25 he stays and if nothing happens before Monday I saw 90/10.

that's fine... but do you think it will be made public when Les notifies LSU? that sort of thing will probably stay under wraps at LSU unless word gets out that LSU has contacted possible candidates for a replacement, no?

i hope so... i agreed with Gordy last night when he said that if Michigan does not introduce a new coach before Tuesday, it would be an embarrassment to them.

the Michigan guys involved in this probably won't be getting much sleep in the next 48 hours

I want miles to stay. He's an elite coach who recruits well and has proven he can win in the sec

my feeling is that he has won 62 games in 6 years, taken us to Atlanta twice and won once, won 5 bowl games and continued the trend of getting NFL talent here and promoting the program... these are great accomplishments and they trump his shortcomings

he gets LSU exposure because he is quirky, but also mucks up the clock which is very bad.

i admit that i would be excited to see what a new coach would bring to the table, but i would rather him stay and get a new offensive mind on the staff. he has been valuable to the program, and even those that despise him must admit that if he leaves he is leaving LSU in GREAT shape for the future

LSU will not make anything public until Les has agreed to terms and officially signed with UM. It makes no sense to do otherwise because it loses them leverage with any potential candidates to replace Les, in a way.
