People are acting like Miles/Michigan won't make a move until after the bowl game. Who cares? It's the Cotton Bowl, not the national championship game. Coaches accept jobs and announce that they are leaving before bowl games all the time. Saban announced he was leaving on Chirstmas Day and still coached the bowl game a week later.

I don't see what difference the bowl game makes regarding the timetable.

I'm starting to think that Michigan is looking around.

This is a formerly highly prestigious bowl that is again on the rise, and will probably be added as a BCS bowl not so far into the future.

It looks better for Michigan for him to finish out the season with his team rather than high tailing it the week of the game.

Um, I know what the Cotton Bowl is. My point is that this situation is different from 2007 where he was playing for the national championship. I want LSU to win the game, but if they lose, it's not like we've lost a championship or anything.

There were no thoughts of the NC game when Les made his infamous speech in 2007 prior to the SECCG.

Why do people keep saying we were in the hunt. It took a miracle to make it possible and his speech was before WVU lost or even played Pitt.
