His path to ACC and national championships is SIGNIFICANTLY easier at Florida State. All things equal, who would CHOOSE to go head to head with the GOAT coach every year knowing that just that single loss would keep his seat warm.
with all things being equal a 1 loss LSU/Bama squad will likely get selected over a 1 loss all things being equal from the other power 5 conferences.

When Pondscum and the GingerGump started pimping for O on the air, that solidified my opinion that we didn't want him as our long term solution. The Gumps would love that. They are terrified of a coaching upgrade because we should have beaten them and their paid officials several times and that was with Elmer Fudd coaching. To be the best, you have to beat the best and I think Jimbo would relish that challenge.
