The O lovers have a "one bird in hand is better than 3 up in a tree" mentality. They're SO afraid of failing that they'll be happy to keep O and sustain the same, or even worse results as Les Miles. That's why there are so many stipulations with him, such as "O with a good OC/DC would be fine with me". Even they know he can't run a program as a qualified HC.
