Windmills do go round and round.

Kind of like this story.

I will think that Saban to Texas is a possibility until they hire someone else.

Which there is a great chance of them doing.

Till then, though, watch your back. Texas is officially looking for a coach.

From McPhaul

Bond,

Is reporting that Miles has also contacted Texas.

Now that is not who I'm talking about.

Are we looking at this all wrong?

did UT let bama make the first move by offering 7 million?

UT knows exactly how much they need to pay saban now

stay tuned people

They might not have a choice. They need to stop worrying about "making a splash" and just find someone that can coach.

They can always use some of that "Texas money" to buy that dude out in two years, if it doesn't work and the memories of December 2013 are far enough away so that this job isn't a joke anymore.

i posted that... THIEF!

I'm thinking that Saban was gonna come to Texas, Mack released a rumor he was staying cause he hates saban, media took it as fact... Saban agreed to Bama. Mack found out he was staying, resigned today.. Saban knew he would and didn't sign the contract leaving him open to texas and pushing them to offer him more than 7.5 mil.

and saban has no buyout

Reminds me of Lsu fans... Saban is gone... eventually.. some year.. he will be. Pretty much everyone said Mack was done after this year, before the season started.

Theoretically, Alabama's "max" is somewhere in the neighborhood of fifteen million per year so UT really doesn't.
