Just because he doesn't go to Nebraska doesn't mean he won't land somewhere else. I think there are other programs interested in him other than Nebraska. Not sure which ones but it seems national comentary has him as a national candidate not just a Nebraska candidate.

With all of the negativity surrounding Pelini I just went look at his resume. Sure he played at Ohio State and has been an NFL Assistant. But he has only been a coordinator for 5 years. People make it out to be that he is the best DC ever. Was a DC at Nebraska for 1 year under Solich before they both got canned. Then was co-DC at Oklahoma under Stoops for 1 year. He got to LSU and has done pretty good, but I'm not sure he is even close to being a top candidate at big time program.
