Sure. Contact me when someone other than Steve E or Jerry S are hired.

We don't want that stupid USC pro style shite that will never beat Alabama or any really good defense.

That dominated football in the mid 00s?

Yeah with an Elite coach and Heisman type players all over the field. And yeah that was mid 2000s. Why do you think most teams are spread, fast paced offenses now?. A traditional pro style offense just does not cut it against the better teams. Alabama proves that against us each and every year now.

And that was after Cumbie thought hard about going to Texas but ultimately stayed at TCU. He’d be great as well but a much harder pull.

They cleaned house on the offense. New oline. New rb coach to go along with oc. I think they kept their te coach only.

Not one insider or analyst from any other site has said anything about Gilbert. Not one. Hope y’all aren’t getting your hopes up. This seems like a ton of smoke with no fire in sight.

Not exactly. We are a very run heavy team with an OK at best passing attack. Bama just exploits that and forces us to pass more than we want to against them. Their front 7 have been much better than our lines and running schemes which forced us to do something we aren’t even being close to good enough at doing, throwing the football. Against Alabama, if you have an above average passer in the pro style offense you can beat them because it forces them to stay honest and opens up the run game. You don’t have to be spectacular throwing the ball against them, you just have to be better than average, accurate, not afraid to stand in the pocket and deliver it to the right receiver, and not make any mistakes.

USC didn't run a traditional pro style. They ran multiple schemes.
