Of course he did. You seem really young.

Whatever you think. You’re right we’ve had a problem recruiting.

So you posted a list to prove recruiting was a problem with highly recruited players leaving. Once I proved they weren’t a loss, now it’s misevaluating.
Make up your mind.

You must have missed this...

quote:

you fail in recruiting in 3 areas: actually getting the players to sign, actually keeping the players on the team, and evaluating players properly so the players you get are what you thought.

I'll explain..

Not speaking about Miles era..

Players lost to portal:
Chris Curry
Arik Gilbert
Ray Thornton
Maurice Hampton
Dare Rosenthal
Eli Ricks
Navonteque Strong
Koy Moore
Donavaughn Campbell
Jamal Pettigrew
Marcel Brooks
TK McLendon
Travez Moore
(possibly more)

There is a difference between using them correctly and recruiting for scheme.. We did not recruit for scheme clearly. Hence why so many probably hit the portal. They were recruited for a certain scheme and we didn't use it.

If I'm not mistaken we lost most of our recruiting classes to the portal or didn't use them correctly.

For O, sure. There's a reason why we're 5-6 and almost assuredly not bowling with the number 5 team in the talent composite, but Miles was competing for a title every 4 years for a reason. Guy could recruit, and as someone who talked to him once when he was at Okie lite (like an actual conversation and not some meet and greet thing), it's not surprising. Very personable.

Miles struggled in his own ways.. offensively it wasn't an exciting team amongst other reasons.

Miles was more business and O was personable as you described.

If we could get somebody would doesn’t do these two things AND talks legibly and coherently, everything else will fall into place. I’m convinced.
