He's taking the job. He's already told some at Oregon. Also, the USC fan who said he's leaving before sanctions comr - even thoug that's exactly what Carroll did - is right. Oregon has sanctions coming. kelly knows it. He's part of reason for it.

Bobby Petrino had NFL coaching experience and runs a pro-style offense.

Chip Kelly has neither of those things.

It doesn't matter if it was season 2 or 20. His fricking team quit on him. He deserve to be fired.

Chip Kelly has accomplished more in the past three years as a head coach than Morris will ever accomplish in his entire career.

It's more relevant to the job than being a fricking position coach.

At least he knows HOW to be a head coach.

Have you heard anything about a certain coach in T Town being offered a very lucrative contract extension?

One of the insiders on BOL is hearing some rumblings from his source he uses on recruiting.

I've heard there are talks. It wld only be for recruiting/perception reasons. From what I've heard he plans to coach until 2017. That may change. Talk is an extension at $6m/yr. Should put him under contract through 2020. Wont end speculation by rival fans EVERY year though.
