I can't find any video interviews on him, other than some short clips from the rose bowl.
reminds me of Mullen right off the batt for some reason

take it for what its worth from a reader and not a poster. i think a guy with 5 years as OC and WR, drive, and shares our coaches vision would be a great hire.

I am all aboard w/ Fuente.
One thing you guys are forgetting as well (sorry if mentioned elsewhere). He helps recruiting in Texas, I'd have to think. I am sure he knows the high schools in Texas pretty well and can sell LSU to Texas players. We've got Wilson for LA, Billy G. to swipe away some of the FL players, and Fuente for TX, that's a good combo.
If Fuente and the rest of the coaching staff are a good fit, I think it's a slam dunk and I'm excited.

I think that hey might be a good coordinator, but Florida made a real power move by adding Weis. I'll be ok if he was hired. I just think if we get someone with the same credentials as weis, it would be a homerun.

Not much confusion going on, and everyone seemed to be on the same page.
Is that allowed?

Cohesiveness and fluidity have never been crowton strong points

He is probably about as complete a package LSU can get right now. Proven OC, young and energetic, Texas recruiting, QB coach. What else do you want?
I have concerns about his Co-OC title and how much power he has in the offense. But apparently he has been the guy at TCU. It is also a concern how his system will work in the SEC. Can he adjust to play players strengths and the tough SEC schedule with his lack of experience? I think it is worth the risk, we don't have many near complete candidates right now, IMO.

Weis' credentials don't actually move the ball down the field.

So he doesn't just put his trophies/resume on the field and let the ball just roll down field?

I'm sure UF will have a decided strategic advantage in every game.

I've seen people post bits and pieces of Fuentes experience. Does someone have a resume, or some sort of synopsis of career on him?
From his days at Illinois St.:
Former Oklahoma and Murray State quarterback Justin Fuente is in his sixth season on the Redbird staff, spending all six seasons working with the ISU quarterbacks. He enters his third season as the offensive coordinator.
During his span as coordinator of the Redbird offense, ISU has registered record-setting and conference leading numbers. The 'Birds have led the Gateway in total offense in two of the last three seasons.
In 2005, the Redbirds ranked No. 5 nationally in both total offense (477.55) and scoring offense (39.18). The 'Birds were also first in the league in passing offense with 268.73 yards per game.
His knowledge of the Redbirds' offensive system is unique since he played in the same scheme at Murray State during a time when Denver Johnson was the head coach.
Fuente, a highly-recruited high school product from Tulsa, Okla., set an OU freshman record with 11 touchdown passes before moving on to Murray State where he became one of the most prolific throwers in I-AA football.
He set 11 Racer records, including total offense and passing yards in a season and game.
Fuente was the Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a finalist for the Walter Payton Award, the highest honor bestowed to an offensive player in Division I-AA.
After his Murray State career, Fuente played in the Arena League with the Oklahoma Wranglers.
An all-academic pick at both of his college stops, Fuente holds a degree in finance from Murray State.
Fuente also has been active in community service projects and is a past spokesperson for the United Way.
He and his wife, Jenny, the associate head coach for the Illinois State volleyball team, reside in Bloomington.

They did quite well against Wisconsin. The badgers are probably closer to being an SEC team than any other B10 team.

Justin was the star quarterback at Tulsa Union at the same time I was attending high school in Tulsa. He was a really good college prospect and played for a couple of years at OU. I forgot what happened around the circumstances of his transfer but he has always done well wherever goes as a player and a coach. He is young but he has been around a lot of good coaches.
