WJBO can't know for sure that miles is going to Michigan 8 players said miles told him they are rumors, some say he is staying.
Signs points to he stays
there is a chance he leaves
but not one sign points that he decided that he is leaving tonight.

Sounds about right. He hasn't agreed to anything yet with Michigan even if he's planning on going.

I think you are completely misunderstanding what WJBO/Pelican is saying.
What they have said is their sources say that Mich will offer Les the gig and that Les will accept if offered.
They are also saying that someone has reached out to Pelini to see what his interest is if the LSU job came open and Pelini would be interested.
Their sources may not be correct and Les may stay but Les saying Mich has not contacted him is not inconsistent with that nor is the quotes from players that Miles is the coach until further notice.
What they are saying is Mich will offer and Miles will accept sometime in the next 24-48 hours.
