So Foles is under center about every other play but they are still running the air raid? Is this the Kunka version of the air raid?
The Air Raid is (again) an offensive system that can be run out of a ton of different formations and also under center or in the shotgun. The Air Raid is a complete offensive system, with formations, personal groupings, passing concepts, running concepts, screen game, Play Action, etc.

My sources close to the situation are telling me this is imminent.

friend of mine in FL was in a restaurant last night at table next to Leach. Said Leach was on phone whole time with someone (couldn't tell who) and were def discussing a job in detail, recruiting and such.
maybe why we backed off on Bridgewater? He doesn't seem like a Leach QB at all...

Doubtful imo.

Your right, the AIR raid offense has nothing to do with how much you throw the ball. I don't know why I ever thought that.

Leech was on a Tulsa Radio station today
That was a great interview - and he skewered that sanctimonious prick Craig James. "You know he got paid because no one would play him when you have Eric Dickerson."

Leech was on a Tulsa Radio station today and said he would be open to the idea of coming to Oklahoma State as OC
Now that the Miami job is gone, I think Leach would consider becoming an OC at a major BCS school. I think he would consider LSU if ther're was an opening. I'm not saying he would come, as OSU might be interested as well, but he would definitley consider Baton Rouge should the opportunity present itself.

Actually you did run the Air Raid. Just because you ran the ball 45% of the time doesn't mean it wasn't the Air Raid it just means the play caller wanted to run the ball more because ya'll were very good at doing just that. The Air Raid is a complete offensive system of throwing and running the ball and has nothing to do with the percentage you run or pass the ball. % of run or pass is determined by who calls the plays not by what system you run.
What planet do you live on? Air-Raid? Didn't you list NFL teams running the spread in an earlier thread? Are you a chick?

According to Kunka any team that has 11 men on the field on offense is running some "version" of the air raid. For instance, Georgia Tech is running the Paul Johnson form of the air raid

Agreed. She may be on to something though. Thinking back, I think the best Air-raid offense I've ever gotten to see was a Frazier run machine coached by Osbourne at Nebraska. Sweet system

Considering that I have been coaching in the Air Raid for several years now and get to meet each year with other Air Raid coaches from across the country and discuss this offense and exchange ideas I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about compared to someone like yourself and most others on this board that aren't coaches and don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about.

Actually this is what I said, since you weren't paying attention.

Maybe not called those but the Patriots, Colts, Chargers & Saints sure have had a lot of success in the NFL with Pass first offense's and spreading the field and throwing it all over the place
