If Nutt leaves I predict Malzahn will be the next Head Coach at Ole Miss.

Would be a great job for him. Would hate to lose him though, but he deserves it. That said, I gotta study. Be back tomorrow.

Very good chance of that IMO. It is a good program with decent facilities that you can win at and win well, at the same time you don't have heavy pressure a 7-5 may disappoint but unless you have a long string of them it won't get you fired.
It is not certain but that's a job I think Gus would like to have. At the same time the coaching and overall talent is among the best it has EVER been so he may not want to jump into this bloodbath.

Hell, even if he didn't want to go to Oxford I think he would just to shove it up Nutt's arse one more time. What a strange turn of events that would be.

"Speculation about Mullen's future has started to swirl as well. National sports writers have tabbed the 38-year-old as a potential candidate for coaching jobs as they are vacated in the coming days, though Mullen said he was not open to the idea. "I don't even consider that," he said last week. "I'm happy here. To be honest with you, I don't know where I would leave to go to." What is certain is that Mullen is the face of MSU at the moment. MSU President Mark Keenum presented the game ball to Mullen after the Egg Bowl win Saturday night "not only for this game but this entire football season." Afterward, Mullen said MSU was "in a pretty good place" when discussing the future. "I'm just proud of the direction the program is headed in," Mullen said. "In this program, our goal is to win SEC championships. And a 5-7 record to 8-4 is good and hopefully next year we'll improve on 8-4 and find a way to get ourselves to Atlanta."
Suck on it
