O was aranda's subordinate in september. How do you think he views O as his superior now?

They are tight and he just got paid. Doubt he has any issue.

he's probably going to have O murdered. just a guess though.

It's hard to be tight with your intellectual inferior. I doubt he stays long.

Let's hope he signs and we find out.

He probably negotiated full control... and O will just stay out of his way and bring him talent.

I've seen this posted a few times and its a ridiculous accusation.
Ed O started coaching in 1984, and is well respected in the coaching ranks (despite what some on here think), Aranda started coaching in 1996. Just maybe Aranda likes the idea of learning from Coach O not just on X&O side but the business its self and networking.
Aranda knows he is gonna continue to move up the ranks. Right now he is getting PAID to continue to work on his craft and will only get better

Yet his initial superior was Leslie Edwin Miles...

Associate head coach title and largest coordinator salary in the country probably eases any concern here

$2M can help you tolerate anyone.

However, Aranda soaked in every bit of football he possibly could as he built his résumé, including relationships he’s built with current members of the LSU defensive staff.
While at coaching at California Lutheran, he sat in meetings with LSU defensive line coach Ed Orgeron in Orgeron’s first stint at Southern California.
Aranda has stated that he still has notes from his meetings with Coach O.
