Many indicators are pointing to Les heading out. Given the probability that he does leave, I'll just say this: NS BELONGS at LSU.
Also, I'm not a big supporter or detracter of NS.
Louisiana's colorful history from Jean Lafitte (the bayou Robinhood) to Huey Long through Edwin Edwards fits with the story line of NS returning to LSU. Louisiana always complained about its corrupt politicians, yet voted them in year after year because of their flamboyant popularism. Well, NS has all of that and then some.
It would be the perfect cherry on top of the stormy love-hate relationships that Louisiana has with most all of its politicians. Having him back here at LSU - even with all the media circus it would create - would be only fitting for Louisiana. Its the way we do things down here. Its what makes Louisiana one of the best places in the world to live.

I'd love to have him back(if Les leaves).

Louisiana's "colorful history" as you refer to it... is that the cream or scum rising to the top?
Yes, Nick would be a great hire, especially if he doesn't get it done.
