Nolan Cromwell - Ransom Rambler

Can Crowton, get this guy.
Just looking at what he's done, it's remarkable.
Admittedly, Mike Sherman is an offensive guy, but do a quick numbers check of A&M before and after Cromwell.
2007: 27.9 ppg (9th in the Big 12)
2008: 25.0 ppg (11th in the Big 12)
2009: 33.9 ppg (3rd in the Big 12)
This is Cromwell's first year to ever be an offensive coordinator. He was a long time WRs coach, so 2 birds with 1 stone. Opens up a spot to bring in an Assistant HC/QB coach. He's a Mike Holmgren pupil, which says enough. He's got NFL ties. In one year A&M's offense increased by a TD and a FG a game under his leadership.
Perhaps my favorite thing about his offense is that A&M has one of the few (maybe the only) offense to be top 25 in passing and rushing: No. 23 in the nation in rushing offense, no. 21 in the nation in passing offense. That's balance baby.
If you watched the Texas game, they tore apart a defense that has really dominated most of it's competition all year.
Doesn't seem to recruit, but that doesn't really matter considering Crowton doesn't either.

bring back henson to do the recruiting, bring in cromwell to do the coaching, bring in tyke tolbert for WR coaching, and then adrian peterson's dad from jail for RB coach

I was just about to post this after hearing a lot of discussion about him.
Story at A&M is that Sherm wanted to run a pro style offense and Nolan came in and said F that, we're running an Option Gun (whatever the hell that is) offense because we have a QB who can run and throw.
He could prob do wonders with TT.
this would allow a QB coach to come in and mold the guys.

I agree. I got some rebuff from A&M guys saying this is "Sherman's offense." I asked them why it sucked for 2 years though and he had no answer.
