Glazer is the best source on NFL hands down. Adam Scheftner gets out scooped every time. The agents are just abusing some of these little punks.

If true, it is masterful negotiating by Harbaugh. He wanted the SF job all along. He first used Michigan to get the consessions and salary range he wanted from the Niners. However, Harbaugh realized that he could use the Dolphins to squeez a bit more out the Niners. He knows that SF is the better gig, and his family can stay put.
Either the Dolphins got played by Harbaugh and really pulled the plug on Sparano, or more likely, the media jumped the gun and reported a senario that they were fooled into thinking would happen.
