If Miles decides to fire Stud, Chris Truax would be a great hire. He played at LSU in the early 90's and is at Stephen F. Austin now. Great coach who would finally bring some LSU blood to the staff.

I feel stud just tells the guys to try to overpower their assignment and thats it. The technique and discipline is just awful.

Who are some of the players in the pros that developed under Chris? Serious question as I have not followed his coaching career.

Great coach
Based on what? Surely not the fact that he's coaching at SFA.

He should go get the o-line coach from some place like Wisconsin or Penn State. You know how the BIG 10 is with olineman.

SFA averaged 131.4 rushing yards per game and only gave up 11 sacks in 577 passing attempts this season

by comparison, LSU rushed for 129.6 yards per game and gave up 35 sacks in 312 passing attempts

Yeah and SFA was playing big timers in McNeese, Nicholls, and Northwestern.......

Seriously......come on.

How about we just go get John Compton, he is coaching in Houston and is a former LSU player and Sabanite. I mean I think his high school rushed for 200 a game this year and only gave up 14 sacks on 250 attempts.

I played for him when he coached at McNeese. He coached Reggie Nelson who was drafted in the 4th round by Jacksonville in 1999. He coached at ULM and Northwestern State after MSU. Don't know any other his players names that are in or went to the league. Coaching is coaching and it doesn't matter whether it's Division I or IIA. He knows how to coach the O-Line. I know for a fact that he can out coach Stud!

Stacy is who we should have here now...but obviously he and Miles don't like each other, that is why he went to Georgia. Maybe Stud isn't the true problem but Miles himself? You know he has his hand in on the o-line and Stacy apparently didn't like it too much either...

Just go back to Josh Henson and hire him. Good recruiter or good recruiting coordinator who helped with the o-line back when they were good.
