I usually don't post these "My Opinion" threads.. but there is nobody around right now for me to bitch to...

The press conference was ambiguous at best. I don't know if he is leaving or not, and I don't care to speculate. What WILL piss me off is if Miles stays. Not because I don't like him, or that I don't believe he is a good coach.. but because of all the distractions that lead to the loss to Ourkansas.

If Miles leaves for Michigan, I wish him well. I don't blame him for the distractions. Carr's resignation came at a bad time for Miles.

If Miles stays, well then I'm pissed. That means that he fricked our chance at a National Championship being distracted by something that didn't happen.

If you stay Miles, I believe the LSU nation will expect nothing less than a BCS championship trophy next year.

Good luck on expecting any sort of big wins to make up for the Ar-Kansas debacle. We have another Smoke Laval, just what Bertman wanted. I can't believe people cannot realize that.

Just a matter of time, and we'll miss "our time".

the only person that will make Miles win is Ryan Perriloux, if the turns out to be as good as RP claims himself. sounds absurd, but go and ask Mac Brown. That guy couldn't win anything til he had Vincent Young.

Okay, why is it so hard for people to understand our team was never that good? We were never an elite team. We struggled all year. Distractions or no distractions Arky was a good team this year.

Right, because double-digit wins every year is so horrible. I guess you could have motivated our team to be undefeated and win a MNC. Please, give me a break. Comparing Miles to Smoke Laval is ludicrous. If he chooses LSU, we should thrilled. Miles knows that this is his only chance to get the Michigan job. If he opts to stay here, we will finally have our "LSU Man".

Miles an excellent administrator, and a decent recruiter, but his coaching ability can only be described as mediocre at best. He will win a lot of games while at LSU because after all it is LSU, but a MNC is way beyond his coaching capabilities.

Hey...a lot of people will scoff and condemn me for this post, but I call them the way I see them.

In my opinion anyone that would have stepped in and took the LSU job when Miles did, even you, would have at least duplicated Miles record. Talent has a way of making coaches look much better than they really are. While in the past three seasons I have observed LSU teams with exceptional talent, unfortunately, I have also observed very poorly coached teams.

Just like every other coach that LSU has had.
