Anyone know about the rumored plane from Auburn, Al coming to Baton Rouge this past weekend?

That would be difficult considering he was coaching in the Iron Bowl Saturday night. Where do people hear these rumors?

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Pelini should get a one way ticket to Nebraska. Any chance Muschamp could handle the HC at LSU now?

Just because a private jet takes off from Auburn, AL to Baton Rouge does not mean a coaching candidate was brought in.

Considering Miles may not even be here after next week, why would he be interested in coming here as an assistant? He's got a pretty good situation at AU, and getting to watch Tommy Tubberville is pretty good learning experience if you wanna be a HC someday.

Not right now.
Tubs says he's pushing hard for pay raises for his assistants. Says he likes his contract, but wants a 100 yard indoor facility, more suites and scholarship seats and pays raises for his assistants. He just had a long meeting with our AD this AM.
The most current rumor on our board is Georgia Tech may be interested in Muschamp.
Btw, the last article I read on SEC coaches salaries had bama's at 2.2 mil, LSU at 1.88 mil and AU at 1.87 mil. as the top 3 in the SEC.

Anyone think Tubs is asking for too much on purpose so AU lets him go? Say Tubbs says "Give me this or I quite" and they refuse and let him go.

It's $6 mil both ways....if AU fires him or if he leaves. He's getting $2.6 mil now with a $200k annual raise built into his currect contract.
