Mullen/Gonzalez relationship?

I am not 100% positive but didn't Mullen get the Florida OC job over Billy Gonzalez? I know Gonzalez and Meyer hate each other but does Mullen and Gonzalez have any bad blood between them? I say this because IF we were to hire Mullen would Gonzalez split?
