O has been acting stubborn throughout the process. O wants a loyal person in a prominent offensive position because he knows the pressure is on right now. Ensminger is that guy O trust and is an excellent coach. However, JA knows he can't just sell Ensminger because he knows the knives are out for him also.
O wants Sully also. I am not sure how Sully will be worked in the staff but will somehow IT will be interesting.

My point is you say a lot of stuff, without saying much at all. None of this is insider stuff. You have left yourself an out. If it's someone else, the report will be how things changed at the last minute. It's worse than an online psychic.

Bingo. This is what all message board "insiders" do. they get the same bad info we all do but their info comes from someone who gives a reasonable amount of money to TAF so they think it's going to be more credible. Fact is, there are probably a handful of people that have the real scoop and none of them are leaking info to TD posters

Like many expected doesn't.matter who the new OC is we will still run what O wants. So it seems like it really doesn't matter what's gonna happen. Same ol Ole Miss O. Hopefully I'm wrong

Too many cooks in the kitchen. No true leader if it's an O, Ensminger, and Gilbert combo. I agree that O trusts Ensminger. I can't see him putting 100% trust in a youngster like Gilbert and giving him the reigns.
And Alleva is acting as mediator here. This is what politicians do...try to appease everyone if possible. Give both O and fans what they want.
This will buy the current LSU regime time in the off season from all the heat, but then the dysfunction will hit during the season I'm afraid.
