“'… neither COACH nor his agent shall, under any circumstances, discuss or negotiate directly or indirectly his prospective employment with any other institution of higher education or professional athletic team without giving at lest 24 hours prior written notice to the Athletics Director,' Miles’ contract reads."

What's the penalty?
He just pays his $1.25 million penalty and goes to Michigan anyway.
All we know is that Miles is doing a presser tomorrow at 11 am. He might have given Alleva notice tonight and he's going to meet with Michigan tomorrow night or Monday. And if he doesn't give notice, what's Alleva gonna do? Sue him for breach of contract?

yeah, Don't know people are making a big deal out of this 24-hour rule. It means nothing really. If Miles goes to Michigan, the 24-hour rule is irrelevant.
