did dinardo ever pay his buyout back to vanderbilt ?

yes, Vandy took him to court, Dinardo was represented by his brother Larry and they lost in Federal Court. Dinardo then paid them back $281,886.43

If Mich is going to spend that kind of money, then it is possible to aim high!

They are about to spend a week in FLA with someone who falls into that "aim high"category.

The BM and MSC contact with LM is to cover their bases given the uproar that his "candidacy" has created with fans, alums, former players.

The hire now has to be equal to LM's status or it has to be an up-and-comer. Anything else won't be spinable with the Mich nation.

So if the UM boosters raised the $1.25mm to give to Miles, he is either on the hook for an interest free "loan" or a taxable gift. Either way going to UM will put Miles $1.25mm poorer. Now whether he ever pays that "loan" back is doubtful, but he will owe somebody if he goes to UM.

Somehow U of M's basketball coaches contract was bought out.
