After 6 seasons, he is one of us. He loves LSU regardless of his decision. I think that is why it is so hard for him. If he didn't love LSU this would be real easy for him.

LM and LSU cashing in on that 2007 crown is the main reason I absolve him from unintentionally c@ck-blocking LSU from getting Saban back when LSU could..
No. Saban and Bama were completely clandestine with their talks.

And even then, it will cost LSU say three Saban BCS crowns at Bama, to the one LSU got in 2007, and the one in 2006 that LSU's Staff blew, when it's all said and done..
Once again, does not compute. I'm not sure what your point is here.

Saban bolting in 2005, and Miles staying the first time in 2007..their cost to LSU was huge!
Saban's last season was 2004. His first season at Bama was 2007. He was already at Bama when Miles made his "Have a great day" speech. And he wasn't going anywhere at that point.

you think a former LSU player would stay at UM instead of giving a shot at coaching the place he loved???

Saban had back-channeled via his Shaw buddy as to the LSU job availability, when Miles to Mich Part 1 went down in fall of 2007. He was already the newly appointed Bama HC, when doing this.

Saban at Bama, already sits with 1 BCS win to LSU's 1 BCS win since 2007 forward. Bama will win a few more in the next five to six years if Saban stays.

He could've been at LSU instead of Miami to coach his players in 2006, when LSU blew it.

He could've been at LSU in 2009, when Bama won it all.
