Is the Charlie Strong/UT stuff true? If so, good hire, imo.

Main reason I like him. He already recruits the same areas that Arkansas recruits.

The guy would be a home run hire.
1. He recruits Texas well and knows the area
2. Runs a high powered offense that could help neutralize Arkansas' perennial and permanent inability to recruit D-linemen head to head with LSU and Bama
3. Was a few tenths of a BCS point from playing in the national title a year ago at Okie fing State
4. His style would fit well with the talent already on campus

From what I've read, all signs point to Strong. But frick, you guys ( Razorbacks) Know how this Coaching Search plays out just as well as I do.

That may be so, but when push comes to shove, that AD is going to make concessions b/c if he loses Gundy then the AD's job is on the line.

Not when he has Boone's backing and he will have Boone's backing on this matter as they are not going to extend his contract and they are not going to give him a pay raise as T. does want him to have either and that is all he wants...
