His contract has a stipulation that he stays on Nebraska staff even with new coach.

No it says he has to be paid his whole contract but I would assume he will be kept on for his recruiting.

He probably will stay on since he went there, he's a good recruiter, and he did a decent enough job as the interim but there's no way his contract says that.

It says the new coach has to retain him, yes.
