Miami’s decline has correlated with the importance of money in winning. Money for coaching staffs, facilities, stadium expansions and upgrades. If Miami invests in the program I think Cristobal could get them rolling.

Richt led Miami to their first 10 win season since '03, and their first ever appearance in the ACC championship game. It fell of a bit in '18 but they still won 7 games which was pretty standard for them before he got there. All that while probably fighting an uphill battle against that shitty administration at Miami. If Miami commits to football, and finds even a mediocre coach who recruits well they can sleepwalk to winning 10 games in the ACC.
