yeah Brantley doesn't have the same ring to it...

Brantley is an actual great pocket passer QB not a RB at QB

Honestly wouldn't be bad move if they are willing to pay him and give him some lee-way on the admission requirements for a few players.
With Strong likely leaving for the Louisville job, and lots of his defense potentially gone on top of losing Tebow, Hernandez, and Cooper on the offense, not time like the present.
He likely won't be able to match his past 4 year run again at UF.

this right here i think is the issue. meyer is used to operating in a different environment than the way things work at ND. He's good in the SEC and fits right in with Kiffen, Coach O, Spurrier, the whole bunch as far as recruiting personalities go. But ND is a different sell and I don't think UM is the right guy to sell it.
but everything else will be right for him-- the money will be right, the timing is right, etc etc... but will he recognize that it might not be the best place for him?

He wasn't always like that. When he first got to Florida, he didn't like the way the SEC handled recruiting. I think if he ever wants the ND job he will go now. If he has given up on that dream, then he will retire at Florida.
