I mean two years from now is a different story, but no coach worth Dick is putting himself in a no win situation.

Why is it a no-win situation?

Is there even a slight chance Ole Miss fires Longo? There are some decent OC candidates coming on the market.

Notwithstanding this year, I can understand why you would want him at Ole Miss.

Think ya'll could get Kingsbury from Tech? That could transition to Kingsbury as HC...

It looked like you had a fr RB and WR that looked fast and had potential.

Longo is leaving if he’s smart. He’s nothing special, but could get a better OC opportunity or a small HC job.

Pretty delusional on your part don’t you think. He’s produced at every stop and the old piss offense was ranked 9th. When was the last time LSU had an offense like that

They had elite talent on offense and it showed against shite teams. But, look at what they did against defenses that had comparable talent to the OM offense. LSU, Bama, and State drug their nuts across Ole Miss’ face.

Longo isn’t bad, but there’s some smoke and mirrors involved that makes him look better than he is.

He had two 1st round WR's, one 1st round LT, and an TE that's probably good enough to declare a year early...And he got shut down but just about every SEC defense.

Not to mention the rest of the OL was a fairly solid group of upperclassmen as well as one hell of a Running back in Scottie Philips.

He stepped up a weight class and got beat the frick down. 20 plays and umpteen "looks" ain't going to cut it in the SEC. Longo squandered the best offensive talent we've had in years. It's time for him to move on.

And here's Luke on hiring a defensive coordinator. He sounds like a fricking idiot. He blabbers on about the right "fit" at DC.

Hattiesburg American

Hey Matt-how about hiring someone who knows what the frick they're doing and can coach up some 2* players? You don't know what you're doing now, and didn't when you were coaching the OL, so I doubt that you can recognize much beyond rah-rah bullshite.

Unfortunately we're stuck with Longo. I wouldn't want Kingsbury as an eventual head coach, anyway.

Yeah, given ya'll beat Tech this year (handily), not sure if you'd want him as HC, but man as an OC I think he would have rocked with your talent this past year. And, it looks like ya'll have a couple of young players that look promising on the offensive side.
