I know, but after being on the smaller stage at BYU and Oregon, it just seems like geographically people that end up on the West Coast, stay on the West Coast.

i think he coached at Tech before BYU. Def before Oregon

Depends on what you define "west coast"..

He said philosophically he follows a lot of what he learned from Bill Walsh at his football clinics and camps,etc.

crowton by miles, applewhite has failed in his 1st year in the big time,he should go back to rice and start over.I cant believe saban gave him that shot.

The only way I'd support Saban coming back would be if he hired a world class OC (Crowton & Kotter are good names) and left him the frick alone. Not just gameplan-wise, not just playcalling-wise, but entirely. None of the a-hole shenanigans with the OC.
