So are you in the camp of hes leaving or staying?
just would like your .2
my honest opinion is hes not leaving. why would he? he has all these blue chippers coming, and has his program top notch. why start over? i mean its not hes trying to build up north texas, but still. but if he does leave it will be icing on the cake

The while thing is a series of leaps in logic. It's very tenuously strung together, and every plot hole has to be rationalized away. A lot of outlandish assumptions have to take place in order to believe the current narrative. The only way to actually believe it is if you really really want to.
Not really. I am in Austin, and some pretty high profile guys are saying it confidently. Just the fact that they have his ear gives them a shot. 100%? no, but its much more than what a bunch of people on this board think.

That's the part that makes me skeptical. The dude has to be beyond naive and just straight up dumb as a box of rocks to be in that thick.

I'm in the he's staying camp.
I'm no insider though. Just a grad student that doesn't like studying for finals.
And making Medic mad.

I'm in for the He Gone camp. I heard $10m x 10y 3 years ago when I used to work for a sidewalk Bammer, and I used to text him every time I heard it then, just to get him riled up.
Serious question however- are any of these kids Saban has been talking to this week EEs that have submitted the FA paperwork that allows unlimited contact? Wonder if so, how many have sent in the form for Texas AND Bama? At that point Saban could hedge his bets by focusing on those kids.
ETA: He gone like Alderaan.

You know....somebody said that Saban was in a hole because he's already said he's not leaving, and there's no point in saying it again.....as nobody would believe him anyway. I say b.s. Before, it was all hyperbole and conjecture. Now, we know he's been offered lots of money. If he came out and said, "Look, I know it's been widely reported that I've been offered a very attractive offer from Texas, and I'm humbled that they extended an offer to me, but my heart is here, and I'm staying put."...That would end all of this. Period. Acknowledge that a substantial offer was made...that you appreciate it...but that you are staying put....and who would doubt you at this point. But he hasn't done this.....so I believe he's either gone, or he is fricking Bama royally for more money. My point is...the excuse for his silence is utter bullshite.
