I think he comes unless OU matches our offer. I can vouch for what Vol said about Jimbo. He wanted the job but got pissy when he found out Woody offered Riley more. That’s straight from an Aggie I spoke with yesterday.

This is laughable. If you really worked in football ops you would have been found out by now and fired. No way Woody would be okay with some doofus, employed by LSU, spilling secrets all over the internet. They would have thrown out some inaccurate info in order to find the leak. That is when you would have been caught.

At this point I’d say yes, but that’s based on the fact he’s got a deal in front of him that would make him the highest paid coach in history, have a long term guarantee, and a budget for assistants as high as anyone in the country. If he passes then idk what the hell else Woodward could have done. I reacted the way I did the other day because I was told of the previous offer that was made to him and he balked at it, and it made me mad because I knew What Woody had been told he could go up to and he short changed him. Luckily he wised up and pushed all the chips in.

Yes. Because if Scott Woodward has demonstrated anything for certain as an athletic director, it’s that he’s going to penny pinch and short change coaches.

I agree with what you’re saying. That’s why it caught me off guard. He did NOT make Lincoln a “can’t refuse” offer originally. It was really damn good, but not the best he could do. Now it is, and it’s Riley’s to walk away from or accept. Per Lamonte, everything he wants is in this offer. He’ll either sign it or decline once and for all and we move on
