I think we see Sloan and Hankton get Co-OC promotion with Sloan calling plays.

The obvious thing is sometimes the right thing. I'd think they'd like to keep Nussmeier in a system similar to the won he's been learning the last 2 years.

BK has a history of hiring younger OCs he mentors.

Sanford, Chip Long, Rees.

Sloan fits the mold but I think Denbrock having a great year at Cincy and a looooong history with Kelly he was a really good option at the time.

What is wrong with the offense LSU has played with Sloan/Hankton being a major part.
Give them both a bump and substantial incentives to produce a great offense.
Don't take away Nuss' only QB coach and have the offensive guys have to learn a completely new system.
That is insanity.
Spend the money to improve the defense and let's roll. Don't spend money where you don't have to...let's stop being stupid for a change.
