LSU Should Be Thankful

It seems LSU has the only coach in College football or the NFL that tells the truth. We need to except the fact that he is a man of his word.

It's none of our business whom Les Miles talks to on the phone, and it's none of our business where he wants to work or what he wants to do with his life.

Yeah, pretty much a novelty these days. This has got to be a huge selling point to the parents of recruits...the guy actually means, and does, what he says.

You are absolutely correct. Miles can talk to anybody anytime about anything he wants to. I couldn't believe all the people criticizing him for agreeing to talk to them on the phone. We all know that Michigan really wants him and there's no doubt that they were trying to get a feel for any possibilities that he would still consider them. They'd be foolish not to do that and frankly Miles would be foolish not to listen and ponder such possibilities. Haveing said that I would think that now that he's said he's staying officially twice that he's done considering it. If he changes his mind now, then my respect for him might drop a little.

Its our business if we have given money in any capacity to LSU, but I know what you mean.
I think the man is true to his word, and I think he is the kind of person that puts his own feelings aside for his family's best interst. Then, I don't know his family or what is in thier best interst, and that is none of my business. That being said, everyone is intitled to change his or her mind.

The logic of this statement is right up there with the local drunk telling the nice policeman that "You work for me...because I pay taxes!"
Does your boss tell you who you are "allowed" and "not allowed" to speak to?
It's America people
He's our "coach", it's a "job", We don't "own" him!
