Houston Nutt as OC would be a much better hire for LSU. He would be a great play caller and recruiting gold mine.

Gonzales would never go with Urban and Urban wouldn't want him.
I'm not convinced Stud is going to go with Urban. OSU fans act like it's a foregone conclusion but I hear different. Not to say he won't go to OSU but it's not locked in as many OSU guys make it seem. Also have to think Urban would want a coach that can come right in and recruit but that's not happening with Stud.

How pissed will LSU fans be if we hire Paul Petrino?
Did you watch the Illinois offense this year? They were awful against Big 10 opponents and are part of the reason Zook got fired. They made Vic Koenning the Interim Coach, not Petrino. That tells me that the Administration wasn't thrilled with PP either.

Billy and Urban are not really freinds anymore. And LSU has already put in for a $200,000 pay raise for Stud.
It looks like he will be staying on as our OC. This will bring his pay up to $450,000 a year.

Paul petrino would make a good oc if ge had talent like LSU does.
McGee is going to hold out for a head coaching job, IMO. Petrino has been lobbying for hom to get a HC job, but he has a few problems in the past that have keep it from happening.
