I like the guy. And I think he can put together championship teams. The Bama/Fla games were big disappointments however. He could be a provisional hire. I like him a lot more than Miles in that he will not be cryptc with the fans and the media; no more double talk, no more double speak. He's straightforward, that alone is a big improvement.
I do however wish he would correctly pronounce the word "ask," instead of saying axe. it's ony 3 letters. And "Louisiana." Not Looziana. It is the name of the university he is coaching, so he should probably pronounce it correctly.

So it's Orgeron.
We had two months, and it's Orgeron.
We want to use the bed of talent we inevitably bring in, and we think Orgeron is going to win us championships. Because he speaks Cajun.
He's the head coach, but he's going to be hands off. So he'll be a guy in a room while we have to expect a bunch of other smarter people to do all the actual, you know, Xs and Os stuff that ACTUALLY wins football games.
But the players love O. Sure, I love O. I think he's a great recruiter and probably a decent defensive line coach. But...
I am deflated. I thought for a moment we might actually make the right choice, but this? I'm surprised at myself, because I shouldn't be surprised. I should've known the way this would end. This state makes choices out of fear and with it's heart, not it's head. It makes choices because it doesn't want to upset the swarms of brain dead, mouth breathers who can yell really loud, rather than make a tough decision that involves an "outsider."
Whatever. God, I hope this is all crap, even now. Fisher, Herman, Fleck, Fedora (yes, Fedora). Any of them would be better options than stagnating with O.

Really y'all ? Y'all don't know ? My my how we forget. What team IS the Southeastern Conference ? This conference is controlled by Bama. They've been in the background all along helping LSU with their new coach hire. They definitely didn't want a coach that can possibly beat them every year. Well, once again, for more years to come, we have a coach that will lose to the Gumps !!
