I do know someone, but they have said absolutely nothing throughout this search.
I think Lane wants to coach Ole Miss as long as possible (even the playoffs) and then come here, but this is not practical with signing day and portal window.
And, the longer he doesn't announce, the more the chances that he changes his mind and stays at Ole Miss.
