Woodward hires big names, that’s what he does. He’s hired huge names in lesser situations. In Woodward’s mind, this is his most important hire ever. He is willing to make someone the highest paid coach in college football.

With all that being said, I’d say there is close to a zero percent change he takes a chance on a guy from a smaller school or someone that is not highly coveted. A splash will be made.
