anybody hearing rumors about Parkview and roids? I have nothing against Parkview just asking if this is something commonly brought up because I have heard lots about the "rumors" recently.

I'm not a big Coach Weiner fan, but In all fairness to Weiner, I played on the CHS team that went to the dome and there is no coach in the country that could have beaten Ruston with our team. With the exception of Warrick at QB and Kevin Franklin at RB, we were simply outmanned at every position. Ruston was #1 in the nation and had DBs bigger than everyone on our OL.

weiner at catholic high.

i agree with most of the list. weiner is deserving of being the top 5 high school coaches in BR area basically from how he turned chs football into a local powerhouse with all the talent that went to college(and in some cases, as with warrick dunn, the pros) and winning lots of district titles over his tenure at Catholic. as far as top in BR Area, weiner should be in there because he wins 80-90% of the games played against other 225 schools through 20+ years at Catholic.

maybe also most likely included for that list is joey thibodeaux at Dunham. over his span at the school, he, like weiner, changed dunham football into a program that has success and in 2004 won the 1A state title. his teams arent the biggest or deepest, but they perform. weiner, thibodeaux, guillot, edwards, and mistretta are top top notch coaches in 225

Speak for yourself. I played on that team and our DL did fine against Ruston's OL. I played against the first team all state center that game and handled him fine. Unlike Shannon Robique from Denham. Seriously, I agree with you though.

Also, Warrick played tailback that year. Jerry Hitzman and Bryan Andrews were the QBs, bro.

Went to Auburn because Curley Hallman told him he was too small. He kept the letter. Made All-SEC 3 years at Auburn and was the center on the undefeated Terry Bowden team.

He was damn good. I was too small to handle him and moved to tackle for that game and our tackle moved to nose guard.

Eric Held are you kidding me. Not even close. Average coach at best. You must be smoking choupique.

Dont count out Coach Held just yet. Sure the Warriors of St. Michael have yet to win a playoff game in their 25 year history and they're losing seniors crucial for their regular season success. However, they have an all-metro WR in Austin Frey and a good football/baseball player named Hayden Smith at wideout. Also be on the lookout for Sonny Adams, the new starting qb, and see if he does well in Meyers' footsteps.
