Not trying to be revisionist here because I did want him, but yeah he has looked pretty bad since this broke.
Plus, I have to admit I did have some doubts deep down that maybe he wasn’t the guy we need atm.
The roster is in pretty bad shape, particularly in the trenches, OL especially.
I’m not sure Riley is the right guy to fix that, but Kelly 100% the guy we want doing that job.
This hire is just perfect the more I think about it.
Kelly is Saban before the 2009. Insanely motivated to carve out his legacy in CFB.
