Lupoi had playcalling taken away last year by midseason. And I’m not sure Golding is all that great, but he’s better than Lupoi.

I think Lupoi would be solid as a DL coach. But he left a lot to be desired as LB coach, not to mention his responsibility as DC.

Karl Dunbar wasn’t. He was awful. Tremendous DL coach. But lazy recruiter than single handedly sank Alabama’s in-State efforts in the 2018 class. That’s hard to do.

To be fair, I don't think anyone could be an elite recruiter with that face.
