Let's be fair to the "insiders"

Just like last year, we'll probably find out that everything they reported was accurate.
We, as a board, just need to remember that there's NO SUCH THING as a "done deal" in coaching until the papers are inked. Alleva still had full control of this search, and he played hardball (to our displeasure) towards the end of the season. Extenuating circumstances around the dumpster fire football program that is Texas opened up an unexpected point of interest for Herman.
I don't want to completely kill any "insider" reports on this board by crucifying them for ultimately being inaccurate. Again, to readers AND INSIDERS, please just know that there is no such thing as a "done deal."

Then don't report it as "done deal" or "100%" or any such crap as that. Don't start threads like "If I told you Jimbo was 100% confirmed" or "It's Herman 110%" or "Homerun Hire!" When you post this stuff to say that it is unquestionably done and no chance that this fails, you open yourself to any responses you get.

I was definitely accurate with everything I reported 
The agreement was made, Herman wanted to hear Texas offer, Alleva is a cuck. Can't account for that
