He needs to make a statement immediately after a 40 % raise, emphasizing his "commitment" to LSU, and state in the strongest terms possible that Baton Rouge has become home, while touting the retirement opportunities in the area

So totally not the point. It's a great exercise in creativity to come up with ludicrous compensation package details like keys to a U.S. Mint facility. I actually had to scratch the chin for a second on that one.

I don't know about a mint, but I sincerely believe that they would give a county to Saban to get him.
