Les Miles was the right hire for LSU

Les Miles has done so much for LSU over the last six years. I think every Tiger fan has had some sort of love/hate emotions with him. Even when LSU has won, we all thought we should have won by more points and when LSU lost which was rare in these last 6 years, we blamed him. That is the life of a coach.
However this is what I have seen:
He is a winner and he has won every year that he has coached at LSU.
He is passionate and just as competitive as a man can be about football.
He loves the young men that he coaches and those guys on the team really play hard for him.
He has made the changes to his staff in a very professional way which is admirable.
Les has made an impact on this University and on this fan base. He has given us heartache in losses and heart attacks in some of the wildest football games that I have ever witnessed.
I hope that he remains here at LSU.

I admit i have not liked Miles for a while and was not impressed with the hire (when LSU got him). But i had to admit after the Cotton Bowl that i am just wrong.
Although he makes extremely bad mistakes at time he has done a pretty good job during his time at LSU.
And it wasent until i starting coaching that i realized how crazy things get at the end of a close football game. I am in not way shape or form trying to make excuses for his mistakes, just giving credit where credit is due.

He has done a great job in the last 6 years. The reason was hurt the past 3 years was the QB situation.
It took BIG ONES to run RP out of town too.

Sadly... Miles stays and loses a few close games next year and 90% of you here will be calling for him to leave.
He was not wanted when he was hired (including me) He has not been able to win half the love Saban did despite the fact he has been as successful and much more loyal.
My heart wants him to stay but my head thinks he should go. I grow tired to defending him every year. You clowns who say he has proven himself after winning the Cotton bowl should know the entire Tiger Nation said that after winning the NCG in 2008.

Miles has become a cult figure at LSU IMO. I would hate to see him go....5-1 in bowl games and 4 10+ win seasons and 4 years finishing in the top ten. Ill take it. And the talent he has assembled in the last few years is staggering. I would be very sad if a class guy like Miles...who's players adore him...would leave...very sad.
