Leach Unhappy?

Every big coaching job his name is flying around.... Is he really that unhappy at Texas Tech or does he not think he can build a big time program there?

He just wants to go wherever his salary will be higher. If TT offers the highest bid, he'll stay

I don't see why he'd stay. He's been waiting on a season like this so he can get the hell out of Lubbock.
The Big XII South is brutal, and he's seen as a guru of the hottest offensive scheme in college. Some traditional, big-name school in a major conference will give him mad jack and he'll be gone.
Washington may not be the perfect situation, but it's a good one. Pac-10 offers the opportunity to support another top program---Cal and ASU are too inconsistent, Stoops can't seem to get it done at Az, and Belotti stepping down at Oregon makes their situation a little unclear.
Besides, recruiting players to Seattle has to be far easier than to Lubbock, and kids who are in the spread in HS will look to Leach regardless of where he is simply because of *who* he is.

He wanted an extension after last season and was vocal about it and the AD said he wasn't going to get one. Now it's the other way around, and while he doesn't seem like an ego maniac, he does seem like a guy that wouldn't forget something like that very easily.
